Site Requirements: Full sun or light shade.  Prefers subsoil moisture as opposed to water-logged
or ponded sites. Drought tolerant.

Soil: 6.0 to 8.0. Adaptable to high pH and saline soils.

 Form: Narrow, upright

Height: 6 to 9 feet

Width: 3 to 6 feet

Flower/Fruit: Egg-shaped drupe, 1/3 inch long, ripens in September to October.

Comments: Excellent wildlife value.  Very attractive silvery-green foliage, tolerant to droughty
and high pH sites. Suckers profusely which limits use in home landscapes. Could be massed for color accent on
public grounds.
