Hardiness Zones: 4 Growth Rate: Fast Site Requirements:  Full sun only. Soil: Adaptable but prefers rich, moist bottom lands. Form: Open spreading crown.  Minimal shade. Height: 30-50 feet Width: 30-40 feet  Flower/Fruit: Greenish flower.  Fruit is oval and very hard. Comments: Large sharp thorns.  Fruit eaten by small mammals and deer.
