Growth Rate: Slow

Site Requirements: Partial sun.  Drought tolerant.

Soil: Prefers well drained soils but is adaptable.

Height: 40 to 60 feet

Width: 15 to 25 feet

Flower/Fruit: 2.5 to 4 inch cones.  Purple when young, gray/brown when mature.

Comments: Very good wildlife value.  Used for Christmas trees and decorating.  Does not tolerate heat
