Form: Rounded canopy

Height: 6 to 8 feet

Leaf: Alternate, simple, coarse edges, doubly toothed.

Flower/Fruit: Edible nuts.

Comments: The American  hazelnut is a native of the eastern United States. The tasty nuts are highly prized by people and wildlife, hedges can be used as windbreaks, visual screens, and to attract wildlife.
