Gully Stabilization Projects

A a gully project on Sturgeon Island (above left). The cut is about 4 - 5 feet deep in this picture. This project was designed by IMPACK6 engineers. To correct the problem, an 80 foot long, 12 inch diameter pipe with a four foot long, 2 foot diameter riser inlet was installed
(above right).
Below is a gully project that was completed on Cross Lake. It was designed by IMPACK6 engineers and received cost-sharing at 75% and also received additional funding from the Pokegama Lake Association. The project was completed with a rock chute to prevent erosion and sediment loading into Cross Lake.
