WETLAND PROJECT LANDOWNER CHECKLIST OF POTENTIAL AGENCY JURISDICTION

Listed below are several agencies which may have potential jurisdiction over wetlands within the state of Minnesota. Depending on your project, you may need to contact one or more of them for their comment and/or approval. The agencies will work with you to help you understand the requirements of the various wetland rules and laws, but you have the final responsibility to comply with these rules and laws.

Use this checklist to keep track of your progress. In general the more you do personally, the faster this process will go. A copy of this form, the application form, with copies of all plans, drawings, etc., should be sent to each agency listed below. Please check the appropriate spaces below to show everywhere you are sending these forms. Remember to make copies for your own records.
