The First 70 years of Soil and Water Conservation in Minnesota

    The 70 history of soil and water conservation in Minnesota discusses major events, primary people (individuals, groups and agencies personnel) and provides clues to how the movement started and its rapid adoption in Minnesota as was true for the entire nation as well.

    The Author is Vic Ruhland, a SCS/NRCS retiree with over 46 years of service time, all in Minnesota except for the Army time. The 120 page document is divided into 4 major time periods with discussion centered on up to 20 topics in each time period. Numerous photos ands 10 Appendices are included.
