Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) sign-up continues through February 28, 2007

The USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will continue the EQIP sign-up through February 28^th, in NRCS field offices throughout the state of Minnesota.

EQIP continues to be the heart of the NRCS’s working lands conservation program.  EQIP is the primary tool for landowners who want to apply soil and water conservation practices on the land.  EQIP provides the necessary technical assistance and cost-share assistance payments to agricultural producers.

If you have natural resource concerns, EQIP might be the answer that you have been looking for.
