2006 CSP Public Information Meetings scheduled

The 2006 Conservation Security Program (CSP) public meetings have been scheduled for both the Thief and Red Lakes Watershed. CSP is a voluntary program that provides financial and technical assistance to promote the conservation and improvement of soil, water, air, energy, plant and animal life, and other conservation purposes on Tribal and private working lands. Working lands include cropland, grassland, prairie land, improved pasture, and range land, as well as forested land that is an incidental part of an agriculture operation.

Meeting locations for the CSP public meetings will be held at:

Holt Community Center, Holt, Minnesota - January 9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.
Grygla Community Center, Grygla, Minnesota - January 9, 2006 at 6:30 p.m.
Kelliher Old School Center, Kelliher, Minnesota - January 10, 2006 at 7 p.m.
Blackduck Forestry Office, Blackduck, Minnesota - January 11, 2006 at 2 p.m. and
Debs Community Center, Debs, Minnesota - January 12, 2006 at 7 p.m.
