ITS Support for the FSA AS/400-System 36 Operations

The Lead IT Specialist assigned to the county will provide IT Support to FSA staff to address technical problems and system failures associated with the AS/400-System 36. These problems could include software installs, information bulletins, printer issues, start-of-day, end-of-day, etc

FSA staff will continue to perform the county-level day-to-day AS/400-System 36 functions. FSA personnel should report hardware and software problems associated with the AS-400 to the Lead Information Technology Specialist for their county.

FSA program specific web-based and System 36 software problems should be directed to FSA State Specialists.

ITS will perform FSA state-level AS/400-System 36 day-to-day operations, start-of-day and end-of-day system administration, backups, and install software and patches. Cathy McCormack will perform the state-level day-to-day operations.

Pam Howard is the Point of Contact for the AS/400-System 36 operations for ITS in Minnesota. Pam will ensure that ITS provides FSA with AS/400-System 36 services.
