Individuals from all walks of life volunteer to help Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) carry out their conservation mission.

The Volunteers in Minnesota led the nation by contributing 87,315 hours of their time helping to protect and conserve the Earth’s natural resources.

Nationwide, more than 38,000 Earth Team volunteers contributed over 1,089,100 hours. This total value of volunteer time equates to more than $17 million dollars, based on the $16.05 hourly rate established by nationally recognized volunteer organizations.
