Web Soil Survey and Soil Survey Data Used To Map Sensitive Surficial Aquifers

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Web Soil Survey (WSS) provides soil data produced by the National Cooperative Soil Survey. NRCS has soil maps and soil data available online for more than 95 percent of the nation’s counties. There are currently 85 Minnesota soil survey areas (counties) available on the WSS. The site is updated and maintained online as the single authoritative source of soil survey information. The NRCS Web Soil Survey provides users with the most current soil survey information.
